Monday

because i *neeeeever* blog about foodstuff

remember when i promised a post dedicated to awesome food?

*awkward silence*

because i neeeeeeever blog about foodstuff, right?  wrong, i know.  but this food - this food was goo-ood!

basic nachos but with fresh black olives and guacamole.  fresh.

baked flat bread with brie and sauteed onions and portobello mushrooms.  i am actually still drooling.

perogies with bacon and sour cream.  no more words are needed.
also present were sweet potato fries but you'll have to take my word for it because they were so good in my mouth and didn't last long enough for photos.
it was the thursday of the long weekend and we three ladies were not gonna waste it!  so jenn, vheobe and myself hopped in jenn's swank ride and headed uptown.  we chose some seats on a lovely patio to enjoy the summer weather and then filled the evening with some good conversation and {obviously} good food.
the only downside was when our sonofabitch server lied and said that they were out of lemonade and they were unable to make me my beloved arnold palmer.  the iced tea and lemonade come out of the same bar gun, you lazy thing!  but whateves.  it is impossible to stay mad when you have sweet potato fries in your face and some quality 'harry potter' convo in your ear.
