baking is fun!

i've been on this kitcheny kick lately, testing out new recipes for the crock pot and trying my hand at some baking.  i've not baked very much in the past but for boy's mum's birthday this past weekend i thought that boy and i could work on a cake for her and include the cake stand as part of her gift.
with the success of the cake i thought i'd try out muffins.

result!  so.  freakin.  good.
