earlier this summer i blogged about how much i was looking forward to fall and finding the perfect pair of coloured cords to wear in the cooler weather. and so, three dollars and thirty-nine cents later i am the proud owner of these babies. {fate is totes my new bff!}
crazily enough, they are not thrifted. they were just hanging on the clearance rack. obviously they were waiting for me to find them and show them love.
they are a wonderfully deep burgundy and the greatest part is that they are about four inches too long so it allows for some room to play when shortening. i plan to take them to the tailor and have them shortened and possibly nipped for a skinny leg. {perfect for boot tuckage!} if a nipping is not feasible, i will have them shortened to crop length and wear them with ribbed socks or coloured tights.
