three years ago today i had an apartment i never kept tidy. my very own space that i never felt lonely in.
i was the world's worst waitress.
i was the kind of girl who believed that you wouldn't catch cold dancing in a rainstorm if you drank enough tequila. i was really wrong.
i was the girl who people made comments on facebook photos about;
"pourer of drinks.
dancer on bars.
stealer of shirts.
general merriment maker."
i had really, really, really great hair.
three years ago today i had just lost my dad to cancer. i didn't know how to feel. i had skipped the class that taught you how to deal because i wanted to go smoke in the parking lot.
three years ago today i was only months away from meeting the man who would give me the opportunity to slow it down. take a breath. learn to deal and learn to heal. the boy who would give me a home in which i sometimes get lonely when i miss him.
three years ago today i was a girl doing the best i could with what god had given me. i was actually pretty awesome. i still kind of am.
i am linking up with '30 days hath november'
