red and pink are a lovely combo

this past week i was able to tear myself away from 'zombie lane' {have you played this yet?  ohmigosh, it's so addicting!} long enough to have a visit with my mum where over "moo-gee-two" tea" she suddenly exclaimed, OHITOTALLYFORGOTYOUHAVEAPACKAGE!!!  holy holy, that had better be some package.

and it was.

this is the gorgeous piece of art i had won from cole's giveaway on adventures in love and happiness.  it's a much brighter red than my phone is letting me capture in this lighting.  cheery, no?

her sweet note concluded "i thought i'd include one of my favorite books, too!"  one: books, i love.  two: she spells favorite just like i do!

cole was also generous enough to include a new little toy for jackson.  {not really, the stinker just kinda helped himself to the heart print tissue paper when we weren't looking.  meh.}

thanks again to cole for allowing me to share in something so awesome!  the art has found a perfect place in my home where it can bring a smile to everybody that walks by it.
