{one} & {two}accomplished some baking for a friendly dinner and a birthday celebration  "what kind of cake is this?"  "um, yellow."  it really was a recipe for "yellow" cake  {three}totally loving my new dark dark dark blue jeans and thrifted flats  {four}nothing better than getting something in the mailbox that *isn't* a bill - a save the date card for a friend's upcoming wedding  {five}one seriously eclectic music mix, something for every mood  {six}finished soooo much laundry and realized that we are people who are really into blue

happies not pictured: waiting until midnight for birthday hugs and cutting the cake; being able to provide tech support to new bloggers and feeling part of something great; realizing how great a friend really is when they help you out at the last minute; stacks of really great borrowed books to be read and discussed over tea; and having the whole family back together and sharing brunch and coffee and laughs.
